I was beyond blessed to meet Evelyn & her mum Kristie when Evelyn was just 8 days new!  If you’ve met me before you know i LOVE getting to meet people and hear a little of their life story. I get to hear alot about pregnancies, from how long it took to conceive, how the pregnancy went and then the birth. I love hearing it all!

When I met Evelyn’s mum Kristie we hit it off from the second she walked into my studio, it very quickly felt like I was just talking to an old friend. We may have talked for longer than i took photos for and i was lucky enough to hear her story about how Evelyn came to be. I wont try to tell the whole story here because i don’t want to change Kristie’s words so here are a few of Kristie’s words taken from her blog  –

“And so it begins.. my mission to be a mum has not and will not be an easy one as I am taking on the challenge alone. Having a baby traditionally is something you do with your partner, a product of love… in my case, it will be a product of love but from me alone. You see.. I am just a few weeks shy of 41, single with no time to meet and get to know someone before trying for that elusive baby. Yes I’ve had relationships but never got to the baby stage. And unfortunately real, deep, honest true love just hasn’t happened yet or I wouldn’t be here. Doing this.”

And this next bit extract, also from her blog –

“Hi Dr, I’m almost 41, times a ticking, I want a baby before my clock runs out.. oh and I’m single so need some sperm too thanks.”
